RAPB ANNUAL AWARDS CRITERIA

Realtor® of the Year

The primary purpose of this Award is to select the Realtor® member of the Association who has contributed the most to the profession, the image of Realtors®, and to the community at large during their professional real estate career. The criteria used by the Awards Committee may include (1) RAPB activities (2) FAR activities (3) NAR activities and (4) community service. The current and immediate past President are not eligible for this award. Recipients of this award may be eligible for the award again after a three year period. Criteria does not include Real Estate Sales and production.

Community Service of the Year

The primary purpose of this Award is to select and recognize publicly either a member of the Realtors® Association of the Palm Beaches or a non-member who has, in the opinion of the Committee, contributed the most to their community through participation, on a volunteer basis, in various civic activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, areas such as, private property rights, environmental and/or governmental issues, civic involvement and others.

Affiliate of the Year Award

The primary purpose of this Award is to select and recognize publicly that RAPB Affiliate Member Company and/or Individual Affiliate Member whose support and participation have added significantly to the quality of the Association's programs and services and benefits to its members. The criteria used by the Awards Committee shall include, but not be limited to, participation in educational programs, committees, and meetings. This Award is not based upon financial support.

Rising Star Award

The primary purpose of this Award is to recognize publicly a member of the Association who has joined within the last two years. The criteria used by the Awards Committee shall be based on participation in Realtor® meetings, committees, functions and educational events. Criteria does not include Real Estate Sales and production.
